Music Notes–July 26

“I received the living God, and my heart is full of joy. I received the living God, and my heart is full of joy.

Jesus said: I am the bread kneaded long to give you life; you who will partake of me need not ever fear to die.”

In this week’s Gospel reading Jesus invites us to his Royal Banquet, “I am the bread of life.  Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty!”

We have beautiful, heartfelt hymns of Praise this Sunday that remind us that Christ is the “Lamb of God” whom we should “Seek Ye First”!  Raise your voices in the great praise hymns, “The Church’s One Foundation” and “Mighty To Save”!  God be praised!  And God is praised this Sunday, August 1st at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Fayetteville!  Join us at 8 am or 10:30 am or catch our LiveStream during the second service!

God Bless ALL

Director of  Music Ministries
