Agape Women’s Ministry

Agape (Greek) means selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, the highness of the four types of love in the Bible. It perfectly describes the kind of love Jesus has for his Father & for his followers. “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. (John 14:21).”

As sisters in Christ, we dedicate ourselves to guide and direct the women of ELC in their efforts to move forward in faith and mission, through  prayer and evangelism, with the Holy Scriptures as the ultimate authority of God.

The Agape Women’s Ministry is open to all women of ELC.  It is under the umbrella of the church-wide Women of the North American Lutheran Church (WNALC) organization which exists to link NALC women together as a community of faith, hope, and love, to enhance and facilitate God’s work within our local churches. The Agape Council and other volunteers are called to assist members in God’s mission, study of His Word, service to others in Christ’s name, and fellowship among Christian women.

Schedule of AGAPE Events:

APRIL 24: We will be having our first AGAPE meeting on Sunday, April 25th, after second service.

Please bring lunch for yourself.  I do not feel comfortable doing any sort of potluck lunch currently.  There will be enough room to socially distance ourselves.
