What We Believe

Emmanuel Lutheran Church is:

 

• Christ-centered, mission driven, traditionally grounded, and congregationally focused. 

 

 

• We believe the Holy Scriptures are the authoritative source of our life and faith.

 
 

• We believe the mission of the church is to preach the Gospel and make disciples of Christ to do his will. 

 

 

• As Lutherans, we uphold the ecumenical creeds and faithful witness of the Church, endorsing the practices that are consistent with Scripture, particularly Word and Sacrament ministry and worship.

 
 

• We believe the congregation and its ministries are the most effective means of accomplishing Christ’s purpose in the world today.
