THE BEST IS YET TO COME

The first service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church was celebrated on February 9, 2015. Prior to that day, God’s Holy Spirit inspired faithful Lutheran Christians to gather and begin prayerful consideration of starting a new church. As they met, prayed, and planned, they experienced the presence of God, the leading of God, and the provision of God. He provided a space for worship and fellowship. He provided initial pastoral leadership and musicians. Each charter member will tell you how excited they were to come together, share life together, and share mission and ministry together. In time, God led a full-time pastor to Emmanuel Lutheran, and God has been creating opportunities for us to love and serve ever since. We find great comfort knowing that when God is ready, He assists us to be ready to walk in ministry with Him.

At Emmanuel Lutheran, our mission is to love God and love people. 

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” - Mark 12:30-31

We accomplish God's mission for us by living as Christ's disciples.  Disciples worship, pray, learn, mentor, serve, give, and invite.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
